These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the website warnersonic.com and to sample pack purchases, enquiries, consultations, music production, sound design, post-production and related creative services provided by Warner Sonic GmbH.

Warner Sonic provides creative and technical services in the fields of custom music production, sound design, post-production, pro audio consulting and related audio services. Scope, deadlines, fees and usage rights are agreed in writing on a project-by-project basis.
Offers are binding only once confirmed in writing. Changes to the project scope, additional revisions or new types of use may result in adjusted costs and timelines.
This section does not apply to sample packs, which are governed by Section 4a below.
Rights to music, sounds, demos, files, concepts and other content are granted only to the extent expressly agreed. Content downloaded or provided through this website may not be presented as your own work, resold or used in a misleading way without written permission.
If content downloaded or provided through this website is published, used publicly or reused, the participating creators, including Marc Knusel, must be credited appropriately and in customary industry form, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Purchases from warnersonic.com grant you a non-exclusive license to edit and incorporate the samples into your own productions, subject to the conditions below. Ownership of the samples is not transferred.
Independent music releases—those not released or distributed by a major label or its affiliates—may use the samples royalty-free while each production remains below 100,000 cumulative streams across all platforms.
At 100,000 streams, this royalty-free permission ends. You must contact Warner Sonic GmbH and obtain a written agreement covering royalty splits and continued use. Contact alone does not grant permission.
Any public or commercial use outside this allowance requires prior written permission from Warner Sonic GmbH. Sharing, reselling or redistributing the samples as sample files, including modified versions, also requires prior written permission.
Samples licensed through wavs.com are governed by the applicable WAVS license, not these terms.
For cover versions, acoustic versions, backing tracks or instrumental productions based on existing songs, Warner Sonic provides production services only. This may include arrangement, recording, programming, editing, mixing and delivery of a newly produced audio file.
Warner Sonic does not sell, transfer, license or clear any copyright, publishing, composition, lyrics, melody, songwriter or other rights in the original song. These rights remain with the original rights holders.
The client is responsible for obtaining any licences, permissions, registrations, approvals or credits required for the intended use of the cover production. This may include release, distribution, mechanical, publishing, video, synchronization, advertising, platform, broadcaster or territory-specific rights.
Unless separately agreed in writing, Warner Sonic will not use the original master recording, original stems, samples or any audio taken from the original released version. If the client requests the use of such material, the client is responsible for clearing it before production, release or use.
Creating a cover production does not automatically make Warner Sonic a songwriter, composer, publisher or co-owner of the original song. No songwriter or publishing rights in the original composition are claimed by Warner Sonic simply because the production was created.
The client receives the agreed newly produced recording or audio files. Unless specifically agreed in writing, the service does not include licensing of the original song, publishing clearance, mechanical licence handling, sync or video clearance, advertising clearance, distribution approval, legal advice or clearance of third-party audio.
This section is a practical rights notice and not legal advice. Music licensing rules may differ depending on country, platform, format and type of use. For commercial releases, video use, advertising or wider distribution, the client should confirm the required rights with a qualified music rights professional, distributor, publisher, collection society or lawyer.
Fees, advance payments, payment deadlines and any licence fees are defined in the relevant offer or project agreement. Usage rights may remain restricted until full payment has been received.
Warner Sonic works carefully and professionally. To the extent permitted by law, liability for indirect damages, loss of profit or consequential damages is excluded. Clients remain responsible for content, approvals and legal checks provided or arranged by them.
Swiss law applies. To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Warner Sonic GmbH.
When you use this website, contact Warner Sonic GmbH, book a consultation, subscribe to a newsletter, submit a form or otherwise provide information, Warner Sonic GmbH may collect and process information such as your name, email address, message content, project details, communication history, technical website data, cookie data, analytics information and other information you voluntarily provide.
This information may be used to respond to enquiries, provide and improve services, manage client and newsletter relationships, understand website performance, support marketing campaigns, measure advertising and communication effectiveness, improve the user experience and develop future offers, content and services in the fields of music production, sound design, post-production and audio consulting.

Personal data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Warner Sonic GmbH does not intend to sell personal data. Data may be shared with trusted service providers where necessary to operate the website, provide services, send emails, manage marketing activities, process enquiries or comply with legal obligations.
